Jackson to re-release top singles

Pop superstar Michael Jackson plans to follow in the footsteps of Elvis Presley and re-release 20 of his biggest hits as singles.

Presley topped the charts almost continuously earlier this year when 18 of his tracks were released in Britain, one a week, so his record company could cash in before the 50-year copyright protection on sound recordings expired on his earlier hits.
