Wacky comedy a pleasant surprise

COMEDIES come and go, but The 40-Year-old Virgin (Universal, €24.99) manages to be funny and exceed expectations for a rather cliched genre.

Andy (Steven Carrel) is still living the life of a teenager, despite his years, but is having no luck in one department. So his friends decide, rather sportingly, to help out.
