Madonna meets Presley's Billboard world record

Pop superstar Madonna has matched Elvis Presley's record of 36 Top 10 hits in the American Billboard charts - after topping the charts once more with Hung Up.

The 47-year-old singer has appeared in the Billboard Hot 100 every year since first hitting the charts with Holiday in 1983.

But Presley achieved his 36 Top 10 smash hits in just 16 years - from Heartbreak Hotel in 1956 to Burning Love in 1972.
