Kylie hopes to appear at breast cancer ball

Cancer sufferer Kylie Minogue is hoping she will be strong enough to guest star at a London charity ball in aid of breast cancer awareness next month.

The I Believe In You star is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Paris, France, while staying with boyfriend Olivier Martinez, and the event - held by Cancer Research UK - would be her first public appearance since being diagnosed with the disease in May.
