Superstar Mariah Carey loves watching British soap opera Eastenders and is trying to adopt the characters' trademark cockney accent.

The 34-year-old singer is determined to become a true Londoner when she moves to the city, joining the likes of Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, who have made the British capital their homes.
