Lennon musical to close

A Broadway musical based on the life of John Lennon will close after just six weeks on the New York stage, after disappointing audiences and critics alike.

The cast of Lennon, created with help from the former Beatle's widow Yoko Ono, will take a final bow on 24 September after just 71 performances.
