Pitt and Clooney pat student handsomely for a ride

Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney shocked a student when they offered him $1,800 (€1,465) in return for a lift to New York City.

The pair, who were travelling with Cindy Crawford's husband Rande Berger, waved down the student after their plane had been diverted due to stormy weather, leaving them stranded in upstate New York.
