Gervais rooting against Winslet Oscar

Ricky Gervais and English rose Kate Winslet are pretty pally after the actress appeared in his new comedy Extras – but he was overjoyed when Kate failed to pick up an Oscar for Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

The funnyman breathed a sigh of relief at Kate’s downfall because the episode she stars in is based on her not winning the coveted gong.
