Odd couple drama works well

Pawel Pawlikowski’s My Summer of Love (Universal) stars Natalie Press (Mona) and Emily Blunt (Tamsin), one rich and spoilt, the other a rough diamond.

They make an unlikely pairing, yet their worlds come together and into the mix steps Phil (Paddy Considine), Mona’s brother, anxious to save them and the world.
