Liam Neeson to guest star on US hit show

Northern Irish movie star Liam Neeson is to appear in the long running hit TV programme "The Simpsons".

The Ballymena actor is to play the part of Father Sean, a trendy priest who converts Bart and Homer to Catholicism.

The episode due to be screened over the summer sees Homer declaring, "Catholics Rule - We've got Boston, South America and the good part of Ireland!"
