Anderson attacks KFC in harrowing new video

Pamela Anderson has narrated a harrowing new video for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in which she takes viewers through the sad lives of Kentucky Fried Chicken-destined poultry.

The animal-loving beauty has been calling on her fans to boycott KFC restaurants for the past 18 months - since discovering the horrors chickens are subjected to before being served up to fast-food diners.

And now she's going one step further to convince people they should find an alternative to KFC to satisfy their desire for poultry .

According to PETA, the video shows KFC suppliers kicking, throwing, and stomping on live birds.

It will debut on the organisation's Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com website later today.

In a statement, the former Baywatch star says: "I'm asking people to boycott KFC until the company demands that its suppliers stop crippling chickens and scalding them alive.

"No animals should have to suffer this way, whether they're cats or dogs or chickens."
