Wedding Singer takes to the stage

The Wedding Singer, the 1998 Adam Sandler comedy, is the latest movie to be turned into (hopefully) theatrical gold.

Producers have lined up a stage version of the 80s-set romcom to debut in Seattle in January 2006, before moving to Broadway later in the year.
