Carey hates using lifts in Europe

Mariah Carey says she hates using lifts in Britain because they are "so much smaller" than what she's used to back home in America.

The 35-year-singer says that after being stuck several times in elevators in Germany, Japan and in her own apartment she really, really hates elevators but goes in them when she has to. She says she'd prefer to take the stairs, even when she's in her heels.
