Cruz wants to do English language comedy

Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz has appealed to Hollywood bosses to cast her in a comedy - because she has yet to be given an opportunity to prove her comedic talents.

Cruz has worked in a number of funny movies in her native Spain - including Jamon Jamon - and is determined to make her mark in American comedies.
