Woody Allen is modest about his ability to attract big name stars to his movies - insisting they only work with him between bigger projects.

The auteur is famous for convincing Hollywood's leading stars to accept small pay cheques to appear in his low budget films, but he rejects the assumption everyone in Tinseltown is desperate to work with him.
