James Brown: Jackson trial a set-up

Legendary soul singer James Brown said today that Michael Jackson was being “set up” in his child molestation trial and that the embattled performer should be touring tsunami-hit Asia rather than defending himself in a US court.

Speaking in Indonesia ahead of a concert Sunday, the 71-year-old Godfather of Soul also claimed to be the root of modern music.
