Keys denies letting down fans

R&B star Alicia Keys has slammed reports she disappointed fans by failing to perform at a gig on Friday - insisting she never confirmed she would take to the stage.

Micheal Ault, the owner of Los Angeles' Gryphon Club, complains he had to refund disappointed ticket holders because a friend of the Grammy-winning singer promised fans Keys would perform if he received a cut of the ticket sales.
