Plane problem for Cruz and Hayek

Best pals Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek faced a terrifying plane trip on their way to the set of new movie Bandidas, when the craft dropped from the sky.

The sexy Latinas were onboard when the small craft ran out of fuel and lost altitude - but it managed to land safely.

Cruz admits she did think it was the end: "We nearly died together. I thought: 'If I go now, I go with my good friend.'"
