Cage rules out 007 role

Hollywood star Nicolas Cage has laughed off reports he's been lined up as a possible James Bond replacement for Pierce Brosnan, insisting only British actors can fill the role.

At the British premiere of his latest film National Treasure, Cage admitted playing 007 would be a dream role, but he has no realistic chance of starring as the superspy.
