Surgery gets Ringo back in the beat

Ringo Starr has had surgery on his left shoulder so he can play the drums again.

The legendary Beatles drummer suffered a painful bone growth that forced him to cut back on his talent but after an operation in January on his right shoulder, another operation in August on his left shoulder, and a final surgical procedure last week, he hopes he can us his percussion kit again.

The 63-year-old star explained, "It isn't as good yet, but the doctors promise me it will be."
