Ill Weller cancels tour

Rocker Paul Weller has been forced to cancel a forthcoming tour after being hospitalised with a severe throat infection.

The singer, who can't speak, will remain in hospital for a few days while doctors treat him. He is suffering from quinsy, an inflammation of the tonsils that leads to abscesses.
