Knoxville fails to impress in comedy outing

Grand Theft Parson is the off-the-wall story of country music legend Gram Parsons (Gabriel Macht) who made a deal with his best friend and road manager Phil Kaufman (Johnny Knoxville) that if one of them died the other would cremate his body in the Joshua Tree National Park.

A couple of months later Parson went to meet his maker and Kaufman was left to carry out his friend’s wishes.
