Springsteen slams US TV networks

Rocker Bruce Springsteen has hit out at television networks in his native America, accusing them of devoting more time to mindless reality TV than politics.

The star is a part of the 'Vote for change tour', which is aimed at ousting President George W Bush from office, and he feels broadcast networks need to devote more time to the things which are truly important, rather than ratings.
