LeBlanc's friends fears go up in smoke

Actor Matt LeBlanc has turned to cigarettes again in a bid to help him cope with the end of long-running comedy Friends.

The star's spin-off show Joey - which follows his Friends character Joey Tribiani as he moves from New York to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career - has already become a massive TV hit in the US, but LeBlanc is struggling to accept the series that launched him to stardom is now over.

And he blames the stress caused by the "break-up" of Friends for encouraging to smoke again.
