Stewart hits out at 'backlash'

Rod Stewart has slammed critics who claim he sacrificed his credibility by recording albums of classic jazz and pop songs.

The 59-year-old singer has rubbished reports of a "backlash" as a consequence of his two The Great American Songbook albums, which include cover versions of As Time Goes By and Time After Time.
