Theron never wanted to be celebrity

Oscar winner Charlize Theron had no interest in fame and never wanted to be a celebrity when she was a child.

The actress, aged 29, was oblivious to the culture of celebrity while growing up on a farm in South Africa - and only learnt about fame when she won a place to study dance at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York as a teenager.
