Oprah to celebrate show's 25th anniversary

Oprah Winfrey will present American TV series The Oprah Winfrey Show until 2011, after signing a new three-year-deal.

Winfrey has become one of US television's highest paid women, with a personal fortune estimated in excess of $1bn (€814,500) thanks to the Emmy award- winning series - which began in 1986 - she initially planned to retire from the programme in 2006, but decided to stay after an increase in the show's ratings.
