Bono thanks Blair for boosting aid
Campaigning rocker Bono has signed a letter thanking the British government for increasing aid for developing countries to €9.8bn (£6.5bn) by 2007.
The outspoken U2 frontman, along with Coldplay's Chris Martin, Bob Geldof and actor Jude Law have added their signatures to an open letter to British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown to show their appreciation for the boost in funds.
