Cowell stunned by woeful lack of talent

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has been stunned by the quality of contestants who've auditioned for his new talent show X-Factor because they are unbelievably bad.

The sharp-tongued music mogul - who is joined on the judging panel by music manager Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh - fears the show could be a disaster, if the talent exhibited by the hopefuls is anything to go by.
