Injured Bowie 'writing songs'

Music legend David Bowie was using his unexpected time off through injury to write new songs for his next album, it emerged tonight.

Bowie had to cancel the remaining dates on his European tour last month on doctors’ advice after suffering a trapped nerve in his right shoulder.
