Dunst keeps her singing under wraps

Movie actress Kirsten Dunst is refusing to show off her singing skills by recording records - because she fears nobody will take her seriously.

The Spider-Man star prefers to keep her vocal talents under wraps, even though she's sung onscreen in the past.

The 22-year-old says: "What actor do you really take seriously who becomes a singer? It's kind of ridiculous. I can't think of anybody.

"Like, you wouldn't take me seriously if suddenly I was, like, doing my thing in a music video.

"I'd do a musical movie, maybe, but I wouldn't have the ego to be like, 'And I can be a singer too!'"
