Elton forces cancellation of golf final

Pop megastar Elton John's only Scottish concert has angered golf fans by causing the postponement of a nearby competition final to avoid ruining players' concentration with his noisy songs.

The singer played Aberdeen's Pittodrie Stadium on Friday night which coincided with an important annual championship final at Kings Link's course - which has now been rescheduled for next Friday so that John's music does not distract the nervous sportsmen.
