Shrek continues to take in green

The animated fairytale Shrek 2 lived happily ever after in its second weekend, retaining the top US box-office spot with €82.9m over the long holiday period.

Shrek 2 set a record for best four-day haul for Memorial Day weekend, beating the €78.1m taken in by The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997.
