Bob and Harvey Weinstein have finalised the deal to buy back Michael Moore’s award-winning documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11 after the Walt Disney Company blocked the release by its Miramax Films division.

Bob and Harvey Weinstein have finalised the deal to buy back Michael Moore’s award-winning documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11 after the Walt Disney Company blocked the release by its Miramax Films division.

The brothers formed the Fellowship Adventure Group, described as “a new special-purpose company”, to personally acquire all rights to the film, according to a joint press release from Disney and Miramax. The Weinsteins now plan to distribute the film themselves.
