Technician fall halts Bowie concert

A spotlight technician fell to his death during final preparations for a David Bowie concert in Miami, Florida.

The performance was cancelled after the worker, whose identity was not immediately released, fell about 50 feet from a ladder and landed on the side of the stage at the James L Knight Centre, a fire brigade spokesman said.
