Brosnan backed to keep Bond role
Pierce Brosnan, still unsure if he will be playing James Bond in the new 007 film - working title: Bond 21 - and watching the growing list of wannabe replacements, has been backed by his on-screen boss, M.
Dame Judy Dench, who played the top spymaster in the last four films, has dismissed reports that the 50-year-old Irishman, one of the most successful of the actors to take on the role, is to be replaced by the likes of Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman: "I think Pierce should play Bond … and I think he will."
