Friends fans hoping for big screen version

Friends fans are hoping that there will be either a big screen version of the hit show – now it’s almost over – or at least a TV reunion film.

But Jennifer Aniston and a couple of her ‘friends’ on the programme are not at all interested in the idea.

It would obviously be a lucrative venture and executive producers are doing their best to convince the stars to sign a deal, but at the moment there is no consensus.

“Talk to me in 20 years,” says Matthew Perry, “if I’m really hitting hard times maybe I’ll do it.”

Meanwhile David Schwimmer is at least open to persuasion: “I hate the idea but if it means I get to revisit the great relationships I made, then that would be a good thing.”
