Gibson's Passion gets 15 ceritficate

The Irish Film Censor, John Kelleher, has given Mel Gibson's highly-controversial The Passion of the Christ, due out at the end of the month, a 15PG certificate, with the proviso that the warning "This film contains scenes of explicit violence which may disturb some viewers" be added to publicity material.

The film has raised the ire of, among others, the Jewish community who claim it is anti-Semitic, as well as overly-violent.
