Quaid thanks Crowe for breaking marriage

Dennis Quaid has made the surprising admission that he is grateful to Russell Crowe (pictured) for having an affair with his wife Meg Ryan, as it forced him to realize their troubled marriage was over.

The Far From Heaven star, who divorced Ryan in July 2001 after 10 years together, says he was “hurt and humiliated” when his wife had the affair with Crowe on the set of Proof Of Life, but now feels it all worked out for the best.
