Bill Murray wins best comedy actor award

Bill Murray won best comedy actor for his role in the film about a faded movie star facing a mid-life crisis while filming a whisky commercial in Tokyo.

Accepting the award, Murray said: "I want to thank Sofia Coppola for writing a part that was so good, every actor in this room says ‘That lucky son a bitch. It could have been me up there with that damn thing’."
