Townshend was 'suicidal' after child pornography allegation

Former rock legend Pete Townshend was so depressed after confessing to downloading child pornography he contemplated suicide.

The Who guitarist was arrested almost a year ago after detectives in Britain suspected him of accessing a child pornography site - he was subsequently cautioned by police and placed on Britain’s sex offenders' register.
