Tears as Blaine ends starvation stunt

Illusionist David Blaine emerged from his perspex box crying tonight – 44 days after beginning his starvation stunt.

The self-styled modern day Houdini told the crowd “I love all of you forever” after he was lowered to the ground by the crane which has been holding him above the Thames near Tower Bridge in London, since September 5.
