Court case key to Girls Aloud future

The future of made-for-television act Girls Aloud could depend on the court case involving one of its singers, it emerged today.

Cheryl Tweedy, 20, appeared in a British court in July to deny charges of racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
