Pop Idol judge Simon Cowell has proved his own talent for money-making by becoming one of wealthiest TV stars in Britain, a broadcasting rich-list in the UK showed today.

The acid-tongued star has amassed around £30m - around €42m - as a result of his music interests and celebrity profile.
