Radiohead top UK album charts

Rock group Radiohead went straight in at number one in the UK album charts with their new release Hail To The Thief as US band Evanescence made it two weeks at the top of the singles chart.

The album – the band’s sixth studio album – outsold last week’s number one, You Gotta Go There To Come Back from Stereophonics, in just seven days as the Welshmen slipped to number two.
