Singer Cheryl Tweedy of pop band Girls Aloud was today sent for trial for an alleged racial attack on a night-club attendant.

The 19-year-old star appeared before Guildford Magistrates in Surrey, England accused of racially aggravated assault on 39-year-old toilet attendant and part-time law student, Sophie Amogbokpa.
