Burton plans to resurrect Wonka story

Director Tim Burton is due to meet with the family of Roald Dahl in London this week to discuss filming the late children’s author’s hugely successful book Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

Burton has the blessing of the Dahl estate, which was initially reluctant to make a deal because the author did not like the first screen version, which starred Gene Wilder.
