Pop legend Sir Paul McCartney returned from illness to entertain crowds as his world tour continued.

The former Beatle delighted fans at the Manchester Evening News Arena just three days after losing his voice, forcing him to pull out of a performance in Sheffield, and declared he was “getting better”.
