Brittany Murphy signs up to romantic comedy

Brittany Murphy has reportedly signed a £3m (€4.3m) deal to star in new romantic comedy Little Black Book.

It is thought to be the 8 Mile star's biggest deal to date, having received less than £1m (€1.4m) for her latest film Molly Gunn.

In the new film, which starts shooting this summer, Murphy reportedly plays an associate producer for a daytime talk show.

She opens up a Pandora's box when she goes into her boyfriend's Palm Pilot to learn more about his ex-girlfriends.
