Eminem to play first Irish gig

Controversial American rapper Eminem is to play his first ever gig in Ireland this summer.

The concert will take place at Punchestown Racecourse on June 26. Tickets for the event go on sale on Saturday week.

Eminem's "Lose Yourself" is currently at number two in the Irish singles charts, while the complete soundtrack to his debut film, 8-Mile, shot straight into the number one slot in the album charts following its release last week.
